Virginia State University Military Alumni Chapter (VSUMAC) Membership Application

The Chapter's primary purpose is to recruit, retain, and strengthen ties with Virginia State University, the Virginia State University's Alumni Association (VSUAA), and cadets and alumni who have graduated from the ROTC program. Membership is open to anyone who attended or graduated from Virginia State University and those who love and support the VSU ROTC Warrior Battalion. Please complete and submit the membership application form below. Annual memberships are effective from July 1st through June 30th each year.

NOTE: Graduates from Virginia State University (College) who apply to become a member of VSUMAC MUST be a paid member of VSUAA or its local chapters. Those who are not current VSUAA members can obtain paid status through VSUMAC. Members of sister schools (Virginia Union University and St. Paul’s College) are encouraged to join VSUAA but not required.

Associate Membership in the Virginia State University Military Alumni Chapter (VSUMAC) is open to past or present VSU ROTC officers, active or retired military personnel, and individuals affiliated with VSU or VSUAA who meet membership and dues requirements.

Honorary Members are individuals elected by the Executive Board for their contributions to the VSU ROTC program and the Military Alumni Chapter, but they cannot vote and are not required to pay dues.

Life Members are persons who are recognized in conjunction by the Board of Directors of Virginia State University Alumni Association (VSUAA) and this Military Alumni Chapter upon receipt of designated lifetime membership dues.

Active Member (Regular) are individuals who were commissioned through the ROTC program at Virginia State University or its affiliates, hold a degree from the university, and pay annual dues to both the Military Alumni Chapter and the Virginia State University Alumni Association.
